  • The Clutch Basket Assembly is made up of the Outer Clutch Basket, the Inner Clutch Basket, and the Pressure Plate. The Outer Clutch Basket is connected to the Crank and receives power from the Engine. When the clutch is engaged by the Pressure Plate, the fibers and steels form a friction connection to the Inner Clutch Basket, which rotates the Input Shaft of the Transmission.
  • A used Clutch Basket Assembly will be in good condition, fully functional with no excessive wear. The Outer Clutch Basket will have all "fingers" intact and all teeth in good condition. The Inner Clutch Basket will have all spring mounts intact and all splines in good condition. Pressure Plate will be in good operating condition. Fibers, steels, springs and bolts are considered wear items, but will also be included if in servicable condition.

  • Kawasaki Model Identification Note: On all Kawasaki models produced after 1980, the 7th digit of your motorcycle's VIN (it is a letter) is critical in identifying the model of motorcycle you own. For example, if you own a 2000 ZX6, and the 7th digit of the VIN is an E, then you own a 2000 ZX6 E; If you own a 2001 Vulcan 1500, and the 7th digit of the VIN is a G, then you own a 2001 Vulcan 1500 G. Please confirm the 7th digit of your VIN number before placing your order.
